US-Indonesia Investment Summit 2018
Sep 27, 2018 / 07:30 - 18:00

On behalf of both AmCham and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, we would like to bring to your attention the annual US-Indonesia Investment Summit, which is entering its sixth year and promises to be our most successful Summit to date. We already have nine cabinet ministers confirmed to speak, including Sri Mulyani, Bank Indonesia Governor Perry, ESDM Minister Jonan and many others. This will be a unique occasion for American investors to meet with high-level Indonesian government officials to discuss policy, programs and investment.

The summit is part of Initiative Indonesia, a year-long partnership with the U.S. Chamber that offers members a range of advocacy engagements throughout the year on sectoral issues in both Jakarta and Washington, DC. A flyer on the program is attached here.

BKPM, KADIN and APINDO are our partners in this annual summit, which has become the premier forum for high-level dialogue on the challenges and opportunities in the Indonesia-US trade and investment relationship.

The annual Summit will be held on September 27 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jakarta. We expect further ministerial confirmations but we attach the draft agenda, as of today, for your reference.

COST: There are two pricing options available for companies who are not yet members of Initiative Indonesia:

  1. Per seat at the summit: $500 per person – online payment is available
  2. Per company at the Summit – 3 seats, plus access for one to the closed door sideline meetings on the day

For further information and to RSVP, please contact: astari.sutjiningtyas@amcham.or.id (no later than CoB September 21)

A cocktail reception for all guests will immediately follow the last speaker will be held at the Mandarin Oriental, MO Bar, 2nd floor.

In addition, we will release our 2018 Indonesia-US Investment Report at the Summit. This year's report will look at the changes to Indonesia's business and investment environment over the last four years, with an assessment of how Indonesia has fared against its ASEAN neighbors. It will also put forward recommendations on how the government can make the country more competitive and attractive to foreign investors.

Thanks for your interest and support.
